Terms of Service
Welcome to Warwickly, a social and matching app for University of Warwick freshers. By using Warwickly you agree to these terms. We've kept them short and readable — please have a look.
Who can use Warwickly
Warwickly is for University of Warwick students and incoming freshers. You need to be 18 or over. Please give accurate information about yourself and keep your account details to yourself.
Being a good member
When you use Warwickly, you agree not to:
- harass, bully, threaten or abuse anyone;
- spam other members or the community;
- impersonate someone else or pretend to be someone you're not;
- post illegal, hateful, or otherwise harmful content, or content that isn't yours to share.
Confessions are posted anonymously, but they're still moderated and must follow the same rules. Anonymity is not a free pass — abuse can still lead to removal and, where appropriate, account action.
Your content
You own the content you post — your profile, messages, confessions and posts. By posting it, you give us a limited licence to store and display that content within the app so the service works (for example, showing your profile to a potential match or your message to the person you're chatting with). This licence only exists to run Warwickly.
The service is provided "as is"
We work hard to keep Warwickly running well, but we provide it "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We can't promise it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or that you'll make a particular connection.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Warwickly won't be liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for things outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can't be limited under law.
Suspension and termination
If you break these terms, we may suspend or remove your account. You can stop using Warwickly and ask us to delete your account at any time.
Changes to the service and these terms
Warwickly is evolving, so features may change, be added, or be removed. We may also update these terms from time to time; if we make meaningful changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
